AS “ELKO Grupa” has earned the Russia and CIS Distributor of the Year award. The award was received in EMEA Channel Academy: 2011 Awards ceremony which took place in Monaco last week in association with DISTREE XXL – the region’s premier channel event. Vendor executives with EMEA channel responsibility voted live for nine regional distributor categories. Three months prior to the award ceremony, Vendor executives with EMEA channel responsibility voted live for nine regional distributor categories. The ‘Russia & CIS Distributor of the Year’ award was contested between Asbis, Elko, Inline, Merlion and OCS. ELKO made it a hat trick of titles, picking up the 2011 award to add to its success in this category in both 2010 and 2009.
“These awards also showcased the continued diversity that exists in the EMEA distribution channel,” said Farouk Hemraj, the organizers of the awards. “The relationship between vendors and distributors is more important than ever as channel models evolve and the services offered expand and deepen.”
